Photographs tell an amazing story, even if it is not based in reality.  The viewer of the photo can see an entire scene and activity within the picture as though they were there when the scene was captured.

I try to capture the most compelling item within the scene, the item that sticks out that others may not see in the same way.  I like to take pictures of people when they don't know it, when they are at their most natural.  There is never nothing going on and I try to find that something and capture it to make it more interesting.  I look for a different angle ... a different way of seeing things.
